Over the next bit I will be writing a series of blogs I feel the Lord leading me to share: Why I Love Being Your Pastor!
While October marks Pastor Appreciation Month, I feel that I, as your pastor, need to recognize you as an absolutely amazing congregation.
The first reason I love being your pastor is the very first part of my day, everyday: I get the honor of being able to lift you up in prayer!
I keep my congregational prayer journal as up-to-date as possible from our database, and pray over each name/family.
The picture in this blog is a stock photo of the very journal that I keep with me (didn't want to use my actual journal, just in case 😉).
Having the responsibility of loving, caring for, and lifting you and your family in prayer is one of the greatest honors and privileges in my life; and it is something that I do not overlook, nor take lightly.
It is, most definitely, one of the very first reasons of why I love being your pastor.
